New 2009 Vibe Owner

Post by wildangel5 »

and new forum poster. Got a 2009 carbon gray metallic GT about 3 weeks ago. Had a 2000 Sunfire GT. Am enjoying thinking that I will actually be able to bring things home from stores instead of trying to find a friend with a truck any time I want something bigger than a bread box!I live near Buffalo so my bf and I have been scanning the forums for info on snow tires on the Vibe. Had them every winter on my Sunfire and it drove like a tank - better than any SUV I had.Love everything about the Vibe - can't wait for the Sirius/XM merger to be completed so I don't have to keep my Sirius player plugged in to listen to Howard in the morning!Glad to find this place!Janice

I have the exact same car, same color. And, like you, have my Sirius radio cobbled in there to get the Stern show, just waiting for the merger to get done so I can add the Vibe as a second radio on my plan. Ain't gonna happen.... To get the show with XM you have to pay the XM fee... $13 or whatever it is, plus $4 more to get a block of Sirius content. If the car had a Sirius radio, you could add it to your plan for just $7. Mel K. has orchestrated the demise of the XM division right under the regulators noses. XM/Sirius is going to be just Sirius once the XM members bail. F jackie.
