09 Vibe 1.8L fuel economy vs. zroom

How is the smaller engined Vibe? Very nice mpg, but does it have enough rev on the highway? The old Vibes/Matrices seemed to have the smaller engine and I see 'em on the freeway.

I think both. But Look Ma, no tickets-Knock on wood. I try to control myself...though I'm not quite the leadfoot I used to be.

For me at least, the 1.8L engine is quick enough to get me in trouble. I have driven the base model too and the same could be said for that vehicle although there were times more power would have been nice for merging.

Yep, what was said up there! Plenty of power for all around general use. For the less than 1% of the time, I could use a little more thrust.
