Our roads around here are not really very smooth. One annoying thing I have noticed about the R/V mirror is that is vibrates quite a bit while driving - especially on the freeway. Has anyone else had this issue and any suggestions for making the mirror stiffer. If I hold the mirror with my hand the vibration stops so I wondered if there is some way to make it more secure.
There is a T-15 torx screw on the bottom of the mirror shoe that connects to the windshield. If you haven't already found it yourself, tighten that and you shouldn't have any issues. As keithvibe said, it wouldn't hurt to put some threadlock on that screw to keep it from working loose again.
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
Thanks guys - I guess I was being lazy and posted first without looking to see what the mounting arrangement is. I will tighten that screw with some threadlock.

I did tighten that screw today - it was a bit loose - it was better after that but still vibrates a bit. The mirror feels a bit floppy when I try moving it around so maybe it's the design of the mirror.
