I have an 06 with the 7 speaker/regular cd system and want to put in a Pioneer reciever. If I get the wiring hraness from Crutchfield, do I just connect up the 4 door speakers (R/L Frt, R/L Rear) from the reciever to the 4 door speakers on the harness?Does the amp under the seat then split it to the tweeters and the sub?Because I don't see anywhere to hook up the tweeters and sub to the harness. Thanks for your help!
If you buy a new head unit, and get the harness with it, you will match the outputs in the pioneer harness with the leads on the vehicle wiring. The body harness should have connections for tweeters, if memory serves me correctly.
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
Thanks for the reply ragingfish. But the Pioneer has no leads from their harness for tweeters or subwoofer and the same for the body harness. Just for the 4 door speakers.I am thinking the amp then splits the signal to the tweeters and sub.
