Well hello there . I wrote a while ago with newbie questions about an 03GT I was interested in buying. Well to cut a long story short I did eventually buy the car(after 4 hours in the dealership test driving and bartering a price). So now after 8 weeks of ownership , 7,500 miles clocked up and an Oklahoma to Canada roadtrip I finally have a couple of pics to share. This is a great little car and has really impressed me in performance and cargo capacity. The recent roadtrip went flawlessly. With an estimated cargo weight of 300lbs plus 2 adults and a baby- I was reasonably happy with the 29mpg average over the 1800 mile trip. The fact that between the car and the rooftop carrier I could fit 2 large suitcases , a large hockey bag , the kiddos toybox , stroller , pushcart, highchair and a myriad of other miscellaneous items, was what really impressed me. Minivan/SUV storage space with compact car mileage- cant go wrong with that.Hope you guys like the pics
Welcome and congrats! I'm so glad to hear that the Vibe is working out famously for your family! And just curious, what the heck happened to that sign back there...are those bullet holes?!
Welcome to the site whats the model number of the cargo box, and can you still open your hatch?any plans to tint so you don't have those "drapes" I saw a car on the highway yesterday with 1 in the rear, 2 on the sides, and 1 on the passenger side window!!
Glad to see you're enjoying your 03 GT. I think it's fun to drive and agree with the cargo space is great.I'm getting mine back later today from the body shop. I was hit by a sandwich truck a couple months ago. Sure have missed it and am looking forward to taking it out for a spin

nice, enjoy it! I also have an 03 satellite gt, and love it. 29mpg on the highway with all that stuff is great. The wife and i just took a 1300 mile trip to Canada from WV (minus the baby and less cargo for sure) and we averaged 32-35 highway. Really not bad for all the perks you get with this car (storage, sporty engine, etc).

Best size for the price along with a great aerodynamic design that goes with the cars curves in my opinion. Since you mention it, it was a pain in the (removed) with the hatch and cargo box. I also ended up unscrewing and removing the radio whip also. I ended up drilling new holes to make the box fit the rack. My wife got frustrated and fully opened the hatch. It wasnt too bad as the plastic on the cargo box was soft and allowed the hatch to open fully but now I have some scuffs on the paintwork I'll have to fix up As far as tinting goes I dont think I'll bother. The last car I had I got 20% all around and the kiddo would still complain about the sun. I dunno though - maybe for aesthetics a darker tint could be in order. I may just put that money towards a new set of rims though. I'm really keen on the silver car black rims look.Quote, originally posted by HawaiiPontiacLover »Welcome and congrats! I never really noticed but I guess so- either that or one shotgun blast up close- who knows in these crazy times .Quote, originally posted by Nelson »very cool pics by the state signs! Thanks. LOL...pretty signs like that would never last a day here. It wouldn't have bullet holes in it, but it would be covered with many colors of spray paint.
