Oh for sure they're cute... sweet is not the word I'd use though. We've got a security camera watching them right now... seems they just left for their nightly outing so I think the hubby is going to try and block it up while they're gone. I told him "be ready to run - fast."

I'm here at work bored, and I click on that and my dog hears that (meowing?) and jumps up out from her nap, looking around like 'ok...where is it? where is it?'

All cute, until they rip up your yard looking for grubs. They can destroy a yard in very little time. Also skunks, raccoons, and bats contract rabies more than any other animals.
So the hubby put out a huge line of rocks to stop them once we saw them leave last night. Looked good up until I got home just now and I can see they've found a way back in. They've done that in the last hour. Crap. Back to the drawing board. I might just call a wildlife control person this afternoon, but first I'm going to rewind the security camera to see for sure if they got in.

I've seen mothballs work for a while too. Also some of the stay-off sprays for dogs/cats will work for a while as well.I'd call animal control. Should be easiest enough to catch. A couple live traps would work well. Good thing about live traps is, if they can't raise they're tail all the way up, they won't spray.
Well the skunks are still here... lately we've only seen one. Which is good. Then last night we were watching the one out the front window and the second one comes out. And all of us are like "D'oh!" Then... you guessed it ! Skunk number 3 comes out of the hole! Now all of us are like (removed)! Gah!
