sunroof not opening all the way

Is it normal for the sunroof to not open completely? Mine only opens until the front edge of the window is about 5cm in front of the fuzzy plastic sliding cover.

I just checked mine, looks like yours and mine behave the same. I haven't found it to be a problem

what year vibes do you guys have? the 09 sunroof doesn't open all the way if you press slide once...you need to press it again and it'll open all the way. i tested this at the dealer last time haha

You have to push the open button twice to open it all the way because when it is open all the way and all other windows are up, you get the wicked-loud thumping sound of the wind bouncing around the car. Seems like the 2-push method was a quick fix for an unforseen problem.

2 push has always been there, at least as far back as the 05

thats weird... On my '04I have to hold the button down to "OPEN" mine.To close I have to Hold and it stops about halfway and then release and hold the button agin to close the rest of the way.
