Molded Splash Guards with Monotone Body Cladding

Post by Triton »

Anyone have the molded splash guards with a monotone paint scheme? I am considering putting them on mine when I get it. Mine is going to be a Neptune GT. Any information or pictures would be great! Thanks everyone in advance for your responses. Also wanted to say that I am a relatively new member and I love this site. It is really great to see so much support for the Vibe.

Hello 8th Planet, and welcome..... I am considering buying the splash guards for my Vibe as well. If you can post some pictures of it after you get it, that would be great. Thanks.

Hey Mickey,I don't believe they make them in match colors. As far as I know they are only available in a gray that is slightly darker or the same color as the gray body cladding. That's why I was wondering about how they looked on a monotone paint sceme. But if you see anywhere that they can be match painted, let us know. Thanks.

Think the grey color would match the Shadow?

From the pictures I have seen, the would match closest to Shadow, but I think they would go with any color. I'm just wondering if anyone has them with any monotone color. Here is a picture of the splash guard for anyone who is interested: http://www.gmgoodwrench.com/accessories ... _2_pop.jpg

Sorry for the late response 8th Planet. The color of my vibe is the Shadow.

I just ordered a set, the dealer sold them to me for only $18 a set. I think he said they only come in one color?

But that's why I'm trying to see how any Vibe looks with the splash guards, especially the darker colors. I just don't want to get them and not like them.

I am in the same situation. I DEFINATELY want splash guards, but I think they may clash a little with the Frosty monotone also. The only other downside to frosty matching splash guards is they will show the road crud easier and be far more difficult to keep clean.I haven't seen any real good pictures with splash guards on any Vibe as of yet.. besides the accessories brochure.
