We bought a 2009 White GT Vibe in March. Needless to say, we love the car. Our teenage son needed a car, so of course we had to get him a Vibe. After weeks of searching for a used Vibe with ABS, we found one at a dealer about 100 miles away. Although our son abused his first car, he pampers the Vibe. Now we find ourselves wanting to replace our Buick Century. The Century was ok, but has a reputation for engine and tranny problems around 70,000 miles. (Our older son has the same engine in his Chevy and sure enough, he had some of those notorious problems when his car reached 72,000 miles.) We had 68000 on our Buick. Additionally, although we are not "youngsters", we're not ready to "push up daises" either. Everyone seems to think that drivers of Buick Centuries are "ancient" and would constantly cut us off! We decided to replace the Century with a Base 1.8L. We were literally a day late with dealer after dealer. The Vibes seemed to disappear before our eyes! The Base 1.8L's in any one of four colors could finally not be found without going more than 200 miles away. After a frustrating week of searches with the dealer we bought our White GT from, the dealer offered a GT on his lot for $2500 off sticker. This took the price down to nearly that of a Base 1.8L with just a few options. Well, we are now the proud owners of a 2009 Carbon Gray GT, our third Vibe in less than six months. (I got the "newer" GT)
Pics, where are they? We want, erm... need them!Congrats on the Vibes. When I originally got my 03 it wasn't 6 months later that my parents got one as well, that was kinda cool.
