Second one I've gotten, actually. First time they just asked generic satisfaction questions, this time was more specific... Aside from the "are you happy" questions, she specifically asked if I have tried, and/or need any help with the cruise control, wiper controls, or seat height adjustment. I'm guessing they've had some feedback on those items, maybe not positive. I told her I've had no problems at all, & they were easy to use/understand. It's nice to know GM is concerned about the Vibe owner's satisfaction.
Maybe GM is starting to realize that if they satisfy their current customers and keep them happy that the current customers will recommend GM products to their friends and GM will gain more customers. That way they won't have to continue their bankruptcy proceedings.

Selling off Hummer, decreasing benes for those 65 or older, launching the G3 for Pontiac and more... GM has to make changes and some are not going to be pleasant but IF anything, GM will be bought out before it were to go under IMO.GM has always cared about its customers however it has not always had wanted products to gain back market share it lost.
There is nothing wrong with GM doing this. I think its a great idea. I wonder why it took them so long to start seeing how people feel about their products/their satisfaction with the manufacture. Its great customer service.

When I bought my car I received a survey in the mail from GM. I trashed my dealership because I was unhappy with the sales process. I never heard a peep from GM. What good is a survey when you don't even respond to a disatisfied customer. You're right, Mav. They should have done this a long time ago.

However it is a reflection of GM so I know what you are saying. With my Jeep Compass, brand new model launch! It had an issue right out of the gate. The dealer was stumped and Chrysler did not have a fix to tell them about. I had to contact my Chrysler friend who in turn contacted an engineer to go to the dealer and fix it because Chrysler enginering knew about it. First model year issue but my dealer always took care of me in the 4 times it took to fix it. In the end I trashed Chrysler in a survey they sent on my satisfaction with the Jeep not the dealer and did I hear anything from them? Nope! My Jeep has not been back to the dealer since and I almost went for the lemon law. I always tell myself and probably should not feel like this but many do, if there was 55 gallon drum of water sitting near me... And if I stuck my pinky finger in the water, that is what I am to a large corporation.
I worked for GM for 13 years, and the CSI (customer satisfaction information survey) have been around for ages, whenever Gm gets a bad one they send a copy to the dealership and try to get them to shape up, they don't always get back to the customer, it's mainly made to show how the dealership was and how to make them better and rate them.
I wrote on that thing that I was going to keep the car for as long as I could because I was not going back to the dealer's financing office anytime soon. (they gave me @#$%...and I paid in full with cash)
