Hi all,Ok, I'm using Alltel wireless web over cell service and because i'm my area, i'm not getting the signal I would like. I was told at Alltel that I could get a signal booster, and they gave me a card to some guy that will profit from me needing something I can get cheaper for sure.. Anyone care to suggest something?? It's a Samsung Hue SCH-R500Thanks,Aaron
is there a little rubber circle on the back that can come off? if so thats usually a plug in for a external antenna. I dont think your phone has a pull up antenna...mmm if it did theres bigger ones... mmm theres signal repeaters but those are tons of money.

Anywhere I get a signal I have web, great for car shows.. Did you try another phone.I just went through this when my phone died a few weeks ago.Other than that,a repeater,an external antenna or amplifier will be your only option. But they are pricey though.

I also have Alltel and no ability to change providers do to my location.I have a wilson amplifier at the house. It's actually the one designed for the vehicle. At my house I'm lucky to get one bar, with the amplifier on I get 5 bars, but the amplified antennae has to be right next to the phone.Other than, a regular external antennae should help a lot. If your phone doesn't have a jack for the antennae they do make antennae that velcro to the back of the phone.
