Showing off what I did

Post by Kevzaz »

So lets start off with what this car started off as. It came in with more scratches than you can believe. I asked what happened, the response shocked me, you know those brushes at the car wash meant to be used on tires? Ya, wellllll, her boy friend thought it would be a good idea to use it on the car. So it looked like it was washed with sand paper. So I said I can probably take care of it.My weapons of mass cleaning:Before:After:

LOL! Ya, the car wash is superb. =p Naw, Its what I had laying around. XD The leaf blower helps dry it and gets the water out from the cracks and such.

Not sure if you did your own research or read up on some of my posts for the products used. The 83 is perfect for getting that deep crap out of your paint after a clay barring. And the 80 helps to remove any lighter swirling and hazing. Top that off with the 26 and you can put a car in showroom condition. Good Job!

Looks great, but I'm confused as to what you used the leaf blower for while detailing a car.

Whelan: I used a bit of your information, and a bit from my friends at auto geeks. =] It worked great though.lovemyraffe: It was used to dry the car primarily without having to touch it, it even got the cracks dry. Then I just had to hit it with a microfiber.

I am cheap. I should have charged more. But that was only the outside. And only the paint. No glass, no interior, no wheels. So, it wasn't that bad.

I'm terrified of getting my car detailed! I just don't think anyplace would do it with the same care and attention I do. After 2 hours washing and detailing my car last weekend, Chris pointed out he's never seen anyone, let alone a girl, clean a car with such intense concentration before. Meguire's takes me to my Zen place
