Shark Fin Antennas

Post by joholste »

Question to those of you who bought the sharkfin antennas. How is the reception in those, I currently have a stubby antenna and it's radio reception sucks so i was kinda hoping the Sharkfin would be better

It does deminish the reception a bit. When you go with HID's, Hids will interfear with radio reception quite a bit.If you want to wait on it you can compair side by side at the meet with me. Put your radio on a station and I will do the same to see who's comes in clearer.

With Keith, he has a stock radio still ( I am assuming ). I have an aftermarket radio with the shark fin. So you could compare all three. But I am assuming you want to get it put on before the meet.

I think it's worse with an aftermarket radio.

I think I actually will check it out at the meet...not to say that i'm gonna change from the HID's that for sure is going to go in...but i'm trying to decide on the shark fin...looks like i'm gonna have to wait a little bit longer....24 days 24 days :sigh:

I've lost reception strength with the Shark Fin against the old factory antenna. It doesn't pull in the signals as strong.
