My CAI from Cosmo should be here Tuesday, I'm on call and can't get to it until the weekend. a question, we have a car wash that just uses high pressure and lots of volume water, is there any problems with going in with a CAI ? should I have the engine off ?

You don't have to worry about the car wash. You do have to worry about deep puddles. As long as the water level is below your fog lights you should be ok.

as lancer said.. you don't need to worry.About the only time you would need to worry if you plan on driving threw flooded roadways with 4-5inches of standing water..

I don't think I would worry about it. I'd shut down the engine anyways, not for worry of water as opposed to needlessly idling the engine.

thanks for the replys, I figured it would not be a problemI was just asked because this car wash really puts out a ton of water with enough force that when it sprays the front and back ends, the whole car shakes.

Here in WI we have really strong underbody sprayers to get the salt and ice off. As long as your splash guards are on right, (those plastic tabs are always falling off!), you should be just fine.
