ok I watched it... the evo wasn't that impressive compared the guy running an evo here at autocross or the stage 2 STi. Those guys haul (removed) and make that guy look like a snail loland your friend in the MR needs to learn how to shift lol.

Looks like a real blast! Did MR Evo hit the rev limiter with the bang, bang, bang?

The black evo is wicked fast autox'ing I dont think that run he did was anywhere near his fastest, there may of been a passenger. The MR evo was driving real slow that day for some reason. He left it in 1st as its a 6speed, i did wonder why...I was in 2nd for all my autox'ing. So yeah when you hear the bang its bouncing off the rev limiter and backfiring. My friend in the cobalt did that, his response to my question of dude why arent you in 2nd was I like to see smoke from my wheels spinning hahhaa. There will be more vids soon from a higher deff camera and pics once i get home off this web sense crap.

Looked like a fun course. so was the finish at the end of the straight? Bet you had a big shut down line with cars reaching 140mph.

the autox portion ended right after the carousel. then it was the straight line with a radar gun to clock top speed. I think the straight line was 1/2mile about maybe slightly longer, the stopping part was maybe 1/4 mile, very easy for me to stop with big brakes and not going 140 but the vettes/GT/audi had fun stopping and didnt get fully slown down till the end. theres going to be another one in the end of the summer, I may sign up again so I can do more ride alongs in the sweet cars

Obviously not an SCCA event... no safety vests, corner workers using cameras and sitting on chairs with coolers LOLlooked like a blast though.

Oh yes that was me in the white cut off tshirt with the hat on..yes I am very nerdy white, hence the cut off...hahha i got sunburn and it felt great.Yeah, it wasnt scca, only Jeff and the camera guy had camera's as corner workers. otherwise it was similar rules. the chair thing was odd...i only sat down in corner 3 which was in the grass otherwise I stood the whole time.
