Hi AllI am considering dumping my Accord and getting a 09 Vibe. How is the interior quality on those - any rattles, pops, squeaks and other annoyances?I used to own a 05 base, that car was well made, which is not something I can say about the accord. That thing has various sounds come and go and I absolutey hate that. On top of that the Accord while being quite large can't compare with practicality of smaller Vibe. Thanks!

Hey Yury. Welcome aboard. No complaints here. The interior has a lot of plastic parts, but that is to be expected these day in this price range. The materials vary in texture and colour, not just a sea of flat, black plastic. No rattles or squeaks whatsoever, nice and tight all around.Gotta post some pics if you get one...don't make the mob angry
Thanks farles Btw, I am not really new here. When I had my 05 I was a member So, yes, basically I am not looking for fancy materials and such. What I really want is a nice solid feel of a well assembled interior If I get one, will post

With a 2.4 l it sounds likr an upgrade. The 0 was a nice car, except the power.Btw, is 09 easy to keep straight on the highway? I found that the 05 was a bit of a handful. Not too bad, but not the easiest car to keep straight.

The 09 drives straight as a board. I can cruise control on the highway and let go of the steering wheel and it just keeps on goin like it could drive itself. Pretty nice. My only complaint is if you hit a dip in the road (like new pavement meeting the old, that the darn road crew never smoothed out) sometimes the dash will make a loud crack noise, but i dont think theres a car out there that wouldn't make that noise when you hit a things like that. Thats about the only thing i can think.
