If I'm not mistaken there was a thread about this quite a while ago. I think someone matched up the bulb with a Radio Shack/ The Source bulb for 50¢. I bought one of the tiny rubber bumpers for the drivers door for around $17.00 a few of years ago. They're about the size of your baby finger nail as well.

The Toyota dealer was supposed to be the cheaper place to buy those, someone here said they only paid a couple bucks. At GM, it was around $10.

Not a car part, but I have a bad O-ring sitting next to me, 12" diameter and ~1/4" cross section and about 1000$... Kemrez/Calrez o-rings aren't cheap..

Yeah, that might have been me. Though the base was slightly different, it still fit. I got 2 and I think the total was under $3. I recently though, went to http://autolumination.com/74.htm and ordered the Type "B" Neo - Wedge LED bulb + base which cost me around $3 for 1. I think an incandescent bulb works better because of the confined space and the need for it to be omni-directional to light the panel correctly. As both CP and I both can say, if you have Pontiac replace the bulb, they won't replace the bulb, only the entire HVAC assembly which runs over $250. So, $250+ for a $1.49 bulb.Dave

All the mechanical parts are cheaper from Toyota though.

Yeah the radio is a GM part but we're talkin' bout the climate control parts. Those scream Toyota.

Just bought a washer motor from the Toyota dealer. Now, I think we get ripped off in Canada cause it was $55 with tx.Not as small as an LED but the size of a large lighter.Does anyone has a U.S cost on a washer pump?
