Lightning struck near my Vibe?

Post by Blueridge9 »

We had a big storm with lots of lightning (KABOOM) and heavy rains. I wonder if it struck near my Vibe cause yesterday morning when I started her the radio presets were all erased! It is a stock Vibe radio. Has that happened to any of you? All other displays and lights, electical stuff seem fine so I reset the radio buttons and no problems. The Vibe has a new battery only 3 mos. old. I remember with my old Honda Civic that when I left the lights on and had it get a battery jump it wiped out the radio presets. So that's why lightning surge near the car is the only thing I can think of as a cause. Any other ideas?
