active... sorta. try to be, but don't have any more Vibes. Plus, most of our posts don't seem to be all that welcome anymore. *sigh* oh well... we all move on.There are tons of Vibes up here, but no one active other than myself and of course Mav once I made him move here.

Quote, originally posted by MRCN RCE »the AK couple's posts are welcome with me LOL thanks, buddy! Sometimes.... though... gotta wonder. Ya, we tend to love our Subies, but that's because of our tight community here. I still loved my Vibe GT and Mav's Vibe, afterall, that's what brought us together. If people here were as excited about their Vibes and trixes as much as we were, then I'm sure we'd still be part of the group more. We have one friend here with a trix, and that's it. And I see both Trix and Vibes modded up here, but no one on the boards?? I don't get it.I missed having a hatch so much, that I went and bought another. Just needed the performance end of it and well... the VGT didn't cut it for me. Had they made one in AWD with a turbo 6 spd, I'd probably have considered it. It was a great car, no doubt, lots of fun memories. Plus, we've met a lot of great people on this site, even got back last month from Vibechick's wedding (if some of you remember her) in Mexico. We had a great time!

+1 chicka here!AKLGT - while I may not have been around the boards when you and Mav were active, I've read thru the archives and read about you both and your amazing romance! To think that two people so far apart, found each other through the love of a car... that's some awesome powerful stuff And I don't think you haev to currently own a Vibe/Trix to still be an enthusiast... While Chris doesn't have a Vibe (he's got a 2002 Civic SI), he's been sorely tempted to get one since he's been driving and playing with mine. One of the things we love doing together is modding and working on our cars. I keep telling him (as he reads the forums over my shoulder and says "type this for me!") that he should get an account and post here himself. A car geek is a car geek... no matter what you drive!

Hope,I feel the same way sometimes, but I keep myself busy here in the tech sections, like I do on the other forums.. I try and keep my posts as Vibe related as possible, but everyone knows where my heart lies.. it's NOT in a Vibe, but the Vibe does keep a close second.. If only there were as many hot Vibes as there were hot Subies.... Hay, at least we have a grip of hot Vibe GIRLS... You know as well as I do, if you are found to be a girl over on Nasty-Sock, you get the leg humpers comming out of the wood work... I think a "Ladies of GenVibe" Calender is in order... lol... The GenVibe panties idea was a great one, I just don't think i'd look that good in them... lol

LOL.also, I haven't seen pmh13 in awhile, but she used to post a lot on here too. as I mentioned before, Vibechick and Celicagirl too, but they haven't been on here in many years. Used to have At Work, and again, not around for a long time. I remember there being a lot more females and recently more, just don't know all the newbies.

I'm glad we have so many girls on the forum.

Yes, Genvibe was the first online forum or internet social group/thing/whatever-you-call-it I ever joined and actually participated regularly. What made it most enjoyable was the easy going nature of the site, feeling welcome and not being harassed. I can tell you that after the years and belonging to other car sites or just sites in general, the massive amount of leg humping that ensues is ridiculous! I can see where most women would not want to post or become active when you get practically attacked as soon as people learn you're a "she" and not a "he." Luckily on one of the sites, I'm a moderator so I can tone people down when the sausage fest starts to keep it to a minimum. However, I can't see everything that goes on, so sometimes incidents happen, especially if it's kept private through PM's. And I won't tell you how many crazy PM's I've had over the years on different sites. So yes, let's keep the nice refreshing CIVIL and pleasant atmosphere alive so more of our fellow female members feel comfortable to post and participate as I did..... and perhaps not all will become such a post (removed) as I. Maybe those guys prefer the company of other dudes, if you know what I mean . I've had my gaming (removed) kicked by plenty of girls. It doesn't bother me. I enjoy having the girls around, and I really like seeing what you do to your cars. I think it's cool all the stuff Hope did to her Subie, and I'm glad she still posts here. I don't know if any girl has won VOTM, but I'm going to nominate one next month. Actually, I propose an all girl VOTM next month. Anybody agree?
