well folks..got my springs in..and sittin nice and low now!!..just need those 18" rims and im set..the fronts were relevently easy..very similar to my sunfires..which was fine..the rears..(removed)..PITAx10..once i got everything out..it wasnt to bad..but on with the picsfronts inthe nightmarejust a note to those..AWD rear shocks DO NOT work on base vibes! lol and i'll show you whythis is where the bottom of the shock goes into..seems like nothingbut when we compare the AWD ones(left) to the stock ones(right) you can notice the big difference in the hole.that being said..kinda crappy on my part..but oh well..just used the stock shocks instead since i had no choice.and finally..the vibe lowered..mind you it'll settle abit more this coming week give or takeoverall..was pretty decent to do it..my works spring compressor aint the greatest and it's really only ment for the strut style rather then the shocks like the rear are..i spent a good 4 hours messing around with it all..trying to figure out all the sizes and stuff for everything..but it's all done for now
lol nah not out of control..just had to get some stuff done before the epic meet..now that i got the springs in im gonna settle down til next spring(rims, sway bars and exhaust)gotta save up for the epic meet plus winter tires

well pretty much everything has to come out James. the spare tire cover has 2 bolts that are in the top of the track which is attatched to the hinges. then the black plastic tub just comes out along with the spare tire.also the small compartment right behind the rear seats has to come out aswell..they're held in by the 4 bolts which are holding in the child seat hooks.the 2 side panels are pretty easy aswell. you gotta take out all the bolts that are actually holding in the hooks along the sides..should be 8 of them(4 on either side). once you have those all out. it just pops out. hardest part to this is near the seat where you gotta pop it out plus try to get it over the rear seat fold down latch and pop it off the grey plastic part aswell.relevently now that i know what to do, it'd be a breeze to do again, it should take you a good 30-45 minutes the first time through
rides awesome..just need better wheels/rims to sweetin the ride more..i've tried to take hard cornering to see how well it handles..but everytime i do..i feel the stock tires roll and feel they're gonna pop off the rim lol..dont like the feeling
You don't have to take the side compartments out...basically everything where the spare tire is.. and the compartment in front.. you can reach the 2 bolts for each strut w/o taking off the side panels...I had the rear's out and back in in about a half hour...fronts actually took me a little longer... had it all done in about 1 1/2 hours.

yea i dont think i remember exactly why i took it out..i think i figured i'd rip it all out just cause..but now i know what to do so if i ever sound-deaden the car im setoh and the "2" front bolts..that is closest to the hatch..it's actually just 1 bolt..i tried to take the other off until i realized it was welded to the frame! lol..the one bolt comes out but then the other u take out from the bottom which comes up into the nut
i havent the slightest clue..i've looked at different rims from alot of companies but this is a sketch list of ones im looking at and trying to find prices ofEnkei: ZR1, RSV, Evo-6Tenzo-R: Dc-5 or Dc-6Konig: HeatsinkR1 Racing: DriftRota: Battle, GR-A, P45F, Tarmac 3, Torque, quake, specialstagebut the rims i really want are the Volk CE28's in gold..$700 each rim and $140 for the centercap..so thats like $3200 alone for those rims lol
