ours has been "loose" in the 03 for awhile now, but it's really minor, i figured the regulator would just eventually give... the window still functions perfectly except the glass moves a little too much, sounds good they're fix it for free though *shrug*

the rattle is typical but the bigger issue is the clunk or snap, like soemthing is going to break, and in some cases apparantly it has,,,,the window. Sounds like Pontiac in US is taking care of the issue but in Canada there has yet to be any recall... if any Canadians here anything .. Let the rest of us know eh..

Like I said I called Gm Canada about a month ago and they told me that I should be hearing something around the end of May....So Gm Canada knows about the US toyota and Pontiac recall.and as they told me, going to follow suit here in Canada. Here is hoping that they did not lie to me.

Was at my dealer on May 13th and we looked up my girlfriends Vibe and I got the recall info. 07273 - this is the number to identify the recall on gm's database. I have my parts on order and should be in this next week.

I just received my recall notice Saturday. Strange thing was that I had stopped by the dealership Friday and they said they had no confirmation that there was a recall at that time. I find that interesting how they did not know about it the day before I get it in the mail.

LOL, I spoke to the shop manager. She acted like it was just a pending issue and not yet a recall. I will be calling Tuesday morning though, maybe even stop by there since the dealership isn't very far from me.

This is an official SAFTY recall, folks. If a check is run on your vehicle when you want to sell it, you might not get top dollar if it hasn't been done and officially recorded.

Glad to hear yours is fixed. I was just heading out the door for my appointment when the dealership called and said the parts didn't come in yet. So it is hard to tell when mine will get fixed. An hour isn't that bad either as far as a recall goes.

Got mine taken care of on Monday. Two other Vibes in as well as mine. I was home for an hour and the dealer called to say the car was done! Fastest dealer experience of my life!I do not notice any thing different and I did not have window issues to begin with but at least now I know it has the updated parts. As hskater26 stated above, everyone needs to have this done it is a safety issue.

Got mine done yesterday. For those of you who hear rattling sounds when your window is partly rolled down - good news, this does seem to fix that as well (I figured it would). Took about an hour at my local dealer, much quicker than I anticipated.

I'm scheduled for this Tues. Both my windows are severely loose. i would recommend it to everybody. I bought the car used and have been wondering everyday when the windows would just fall into the door.On an additional note. The tech at the dealer said I'll have to leave the car all day as they change the window glass and windshield for this? I think he has his head up his A##. Think I'll check on this before I leave it. I think it is just a bolt replacement. This is from my post in audio forum any add'l help appreciated:I'm new here. I have a used GT w/ moon & tune option and have 3 questions.........-I have a blown speaker in the passenger/rear door. I found it easy enough to get to, but how do you remove the fasteners holding it in?-Once i am able to remove the speaker, Anyone got a line/suggestion on a reasonably priced replacement? Manufacturer and/or Part #?-Where is this sub woofer that I hear about? I've never heard one in my car and there are no adjustments for it on the audio menu.

Rivets make it easier on the assembly line but not for replacement. Manual states this "Drill out the 3 front door speaker rivets".

Also what would this cost to have done because the noise is really starting to bug me?
