Hello,A couple weeks ago, I got the Hidden Hitch #60958 installed on my Vibe 2009 2.4L. The dealer said that it is the hitch they used to install on the previous year models, and that they just have to "force" the muffler support a little bit to make sure it will not hurt the hitch. The problem is that when there are passengers in the car (when trailing nothing), or when I try to use my trailer (even if it's empty), I get some weird cracking noises when moving backward with the car, surely because of the muffler that gets in contact with the hitch.I called back the hitch dealer and they said that some other customers had the same problems and that they corrected it by changing the original muffler supports, which are kinda flexible, by some other ones, which will be more rigid.I'm not sure if it's a good thing to change these things that hold the muffler. GM probably had a reason to install flexible ones, will rigid ones be fine in the long run? What do you guys think? I do know that some hitch dealers told me that there are no hitches available yet for the 2009 models, so maybe it's the only solution to use that one they installed on my car? Should I get my money back and wait for the "real" hitches for 2009 models to be released? Thanks.
