Line Converter to Factory Amp
I've read til my eyes are crossing. I gather it is not a typical line-level converter with speaker wire inputs and rca outputs, so what does this converter look like? I'm wanting to pull my factory hu and install an A/M but keep factory amp and speakers. I did a test run yesterday and got a horrible hiss/white noise sound. A pic or part number would help tremendously!Thanks!Jason

The line level you want is a Scosche FAI-3A. You can get it from walmart for around $18. Installing is simple. Just make sure when you install it, the adjustment dials are all the way down. Turn the radio dial up to 75% of sound level and then adjust the dials on the line level to turn up the feed to the factory amp. All the dials need to be set at the same point.I will try to get some pics up of my set up. I have a 06 with the factory amp.
