Wow, I guess I am on the fence about this one. On the one hand it's just odd to have your old dog back again and start them off as a puppy. On the good side you get your ol buddy back. I mean, you wouldn't be sad when they died, you would just say "see ya in a bit" walk down the hall and pickup your friend again???

I'll take a cloned cat if it means the wife wouldn't be alergic to it.

I'd do it, if I could afford to get into the auction... I actually had a major scare with my dog yesterday... He wasn't using one of his hind legs... My GF called the vet while I was at work and got him an apt. They told her if it was his back, he's likely need to be put down.... Well, I went home early (45min drive home) and went the the vet with him... Turns out he blew out his ACL, and it WASN'T his back... So, it's bad, but he's not being put to sleep... So I/we can deal with it..
