Tein S-Tech's installed!

Post by breezd »

Wahoo! Had my S-Techs installed last night. It looks great, even with just the stock 16's. Much more aggressive looking and feels so much lower to the ground.I got just about a 2" drop all around. Install took about 2 hours or so. The guys that did it are friends that do work on imports out of their garage. They were impressed with how easy the install was. They have done about 5-6 drops in the past month, and they said mine was by far the easiest.I'm sure it helped that the springs are used and already settled. They didn't even need to use spring compressors, just two guys with some muscle. Don't get the mob after me, I'll get pics this afternoon after work.

Sorry folks, I got the pics taken, but I just found out last night that my (older) digi-cam isn't compatible with Vista on my Laptop. I'll get on the desktop this afternoon and upload. I PROMISE. 3:30pm.

I'm working on perfecting my nitrous injected torch... it also has a built in pitchfork, and built in igniter... The carbon/kevlar shaft says it's good for 800hp, and speeds in excess of 220mph...

Nice! I must say I'm impressed at the image quality from a phone. It's amazing how far phone cameras have come in the past couple years.

Looks good, and I don't mind the stock rim look...I have a questions for those with springs --- how does the lowered car behave under a heavy load?

Welcome to the lowered club. Lowering it does make it look mucg better. Now, get some side extension on and it will look lower.

looks great and you'll like the ride of the 16's. that extra inch of side wall helps.
