Kill Switch Installation Help

Post by ProtonXX »

I thought Id take the time to install a kill switch that cuts of power to the ECU. This would help alot when doing ecu resets where I can just flick a switch instead of pulling fuses. However I dont know where to start in tracking down the ECU power cable. The only one I know of is the EFI fuse in the engine bay but thats a bit hard to ware inside of the car to the left side of the steering wheel.

a simple switch AFTER the fuse would do just the same, it would be VERY easy to do to.. 99% of the time it would just get left on.... it could also be hidden, like somewhere in the top of the glovebox, so you could use it as a secondary kill for the car... a small, flat'ish, black rocker switch and some wire is all you would need..
