I was on vacation last week installing a swimming pool in the backyard. Think I'll put the winter cover on.

Yeah, things aren't all that great on the other side of Lake Michigan either. We have had a nice day or two, but never very many and rarley on a weekend.

I hope weather will be better (even if it is hard to be worst) in the next few days. I'll become in vacation for 3 weeks and I don't want to stay inside all that time.

This year we finally decided to buy an air conditioner, after suffering through the last 4 summers on the top floor of an apartment building with all south facing windows. This will probably be the coldest year on record now.

quote:This will probably be the coldest year on record now. Jeez I wish I was back home. South Carolina's temp has been great, around 80-95 degrees everyday. But add in the 10,000% humidity, and I'm miserable. I hate this place. Not one person can drive, unless they are from out of state, and southern hospitality obviously does not apply here. I am going to savor the cooler, less humid, air when I come home in July. And far less Passive-Aggresive idiots.

this weather is making me go buggy. I work at a florist as a greenhouse manager and it is all I can do to keep my plants all sorts of happy. It's no good to water things when it is cold and damp like this because everything just rots. Luckily we get a sunny day every so often to dry things out. Is this region turning into Seattle? I hope not. That's too depressing. At least coffee shops are doing well huh?

I think I'm going to put some little black tape over the temp display until it starts warming up.On a side note... this aweful weather just made me cancel my party this weekend. I guess you can't play sand volleyball in the rain (i have my own sand court).

The pool looks really nice raser! Great job. Salsa is right, it is nice to have a place to cool off like that in the Summer...when it gets here that is.
