Hood is not flush

Post by rsaxman »

I just noticed that the passenger side of my hood is not flush with the body. Has anyone else experienced this or does anyone know of a possible fix? Thanks

pop the hood..theirs a lil rubber thing on the corner that you can twist to make it go into the hood abit..which adjusts the height of the hood..so twist it down abit..close the hood..and keep doing so til it is flush

Pardon my ignorance, but are they talking about the 4 rubber grommets on top of the fascia under the hood? My hood has been misaligned since new I'm too paranoid to let the dealer touch it. Tried turning them, but I only managed an improvement on the passenger side of the hood, the middle and drivers side is still misaligned. Sorry to bump this one up.
