thats cool..did u take EVERYTHING out..i noticed the reverse lights arent in..did you take out the headlights/taillights and glass and used hot glue to put them back in??..something i should have done...would have made it easier and look better
smart thing to do..wish i did that instead of taping the crap out of it..the tape peeled some of the paint off..so i may re-do it or just say f-it..it's just a model so i dont really care..also what kinda paint did you use..and did u sand it? i was lazy with the whole thing..didnt sand it and just used the paint i got from doing my engine cover..plastic high-temp paint that was custom made for it..
I went to a model shop and picked up some metallic silver model paint. I sanded the model before I painted it just to give the new paint a better surface to grab on to. Then I gave it a few coats of clear when all was said and done. There are a few areas that could have came out better, but like you said, it is just a model.
or look on ebay, or go do a search on the web for Yat Ming.or go here: http://www.yatming.com/index.aspxill be painting mine soon as well i hate the ricer graphics and the envy green i have.

I see on that Yat Ming site it says they are 1:24, not quite sure on how big they would be.The GT-R pictured above is 1:18 scale, I don't remember who makes that one. Then Yat Ming makes the 1:24 scale model of Vibe GT and is about 7" longI have a shot of mine along with some other 1:18 scale Transformers/cars

Quote, originally posted by WaveAction »no they only came in the yellow or the salsa..no other colorsThe 1:24 GT scale models came in several colors, and the 1:18 scale GT-R came in yellow and salsa. Which begs the question, was there ever a full scale yellow GT-R?
