Help with factory stereo. Rear speaker trouble

I Have an '03 with the 6 CD changer. I just noticed that I have no base response from the rear at all. Sounds tinny. Both sides. Does not sound blown. I just put in an FM modulator but I'm pretty sure this problem was there before I removed the HU. I noticed something did not sound right yesterday, just thought it was the lousy Sirius wireless FM. It's not. Theres no base on FM,AM, Sirius, or CD. Any ideas?
