Goodbye Genvibe.com!

Post by vibe_raider »

It is with great sadness that I must bid you a due! "The Viber" had a little run in with a light poll, and sadly, is no more. I now get from A to B in my sexy little G5 GT coupe, so I no longer have a place here at genvibe.com.So long and drive safe!

I'm a'okay! Was shook up pretty good, but good as new after a couple days.I got almost as much as I paid for my vibe new (GM discount) from my insurance company when I wrecked it, woohoo! But of course, wasn't quite as much as a new one now ... I loved the Vibe and though about getting another one, but was ready for something a little more "sporty." Looked at the Saturn Sky long and hard too O_O

It's too bad about your Vibe, but you walked away from it and that's what's important. I agree with Waveaction, part it out. You can have the cross bars sold in one day, lots of people looking for them, the wheel covers are still look good too. How do you like the G5 so far? My wife has a 2007 G5 GT and loves it.

I hardly drive mine (my wife's now, technically) and I still got the vibe hoody (and will probably wear it semi-religiously...).Stick around, post some G5 pics!

Ouch! Hard way to see a Shadow go. Glad you're still around though. And nice choice on the new car. As you can see, I'm no longer a Viber either and I've stayed (though some might wish I hadn't ). Stick around. You're always welcome.

It was the NAWS wasn't it? I'm really sorry to see your car go, but I'm happy that you're here to tell us about it! Do stick around, there's no reason to leave! A bunch of us don't have the Vibe anymore, myself included! We're all still one big happy family even though we no longer have the car. Feel free to go into The Others and post some pics of the G5, don't leave us.

OUCH. ya know, just because the vibe has great safety ratings and people talk about it, you didn't have to go and see if they were telling the truth or not seriously though, i'm glad you're ok. like everybody said, you can still stick around, we won't shut you out so what caused you to turn a light pole into a target??

Not a good sight to see, at all... but your Vibe held up and you came out ok. Looks like wet weather and maybe(?) not the best rain tires on the planet had a little directional/frictional disagreement. Hope you opt for a premium set of rain tires for your G5! They make a difference. Pics of your G5 would be nice... and how do you like it?

tnpartsguy!? fishy?!?! ZOMG! You guys still post on here? Heheh, I haven't been on this site in 4ever! I just might have to stick around for a little bit ;-) Heheh...I'm totally loving the G5 GT! I'm gonna give her a bath and a wax next warm day we have, so I'll have to take a couple pics and throw them up here. I rides a lot firmer than the vibe and has a lot more get-up-and-go. I got the sun/sound package and it sounds AWESOME! I definently drive about 8mph faster on average now I think just because of that! LoL!What happened was I was heading north on 675, took the exit to go West on 70, it had just started to rain at the time, took it at around 40-45mph, back started to slip around a little, tried to correct, then it caught and took me right off the road into one of those polls. Took the whole thing off at the base and then down that little hill there. It was a crazy ride alright.I'm kinda sad I didn't pull my ice cream truck music player/PDA out of it, heh. I'll have to get another one of those or something
