I know many people do this... dumping pocket change into the cupholder.. I do it VERY often. It is not surprising to have around five or six dollars of change sitting in little compartments. Seeing as I have a I-pass I no longer have use for said change so it kind of piles up.Once or twice I've come around to seeing roughly fifteen dollars in change sitting in the cup holder (mostly silver obv.)What about you guys? What's the most change you've let pile up in there?
i have some Yen in my cup holder right now. A friend that travelled to Japan gave it to me. As for change... I keep my credit card and some cash in the compartment to the left of the steering wheel... and some cash and maybe change in the compartment under the shifter... no clue how much i just dump it in or throw the change in my purse.
I had $3k in $100's sitting in my left compartment... then I went to the bank and deposited it... As for change.. usually none, b/c I like it clean... but I use to keep Gold $1's in the flat tray in front of the cup holders... ususally 7-10 of them...
I find lots of loose change in vehicles I clean after they have been rented. But I dont keep change in my car. I have a large plastic TacoBell cup I deposit change into at home. and A smaller cup for quarters only for the laundry machines.
i put my pennies in the little spot right behind the cup holders, and silver in the coin holders. change is only in my cup holders if it falls in therethe most i've had in there was about 5-6 bucks. mostly quarters, but my penny compartment was completely full

The left cubby thing has anywhere from 60cents in quarters and dimes and nickels, (Thursday afternoon, non-pay week), then I stock up after I get paid every other Friday (bi-weekly paydays bite) with some Loonies, Toonies and quarters to about 8 or 10 bucks. There's a Tim Horton's (coffee and donuts and cakes and sandwiches and ice caps, and oh boy, now I'm hungry.......) honestly within about 200meters (yards) of each other.Oh yeah, Loonies and Toonies are our One and Two dollar coins for those of you that don't know.It really was a conspiracy by the all clothing manufacturers so our pockets would wear out faster from carrying all those the coins. Then again who needs brass knuckles when you can just grab a roll of Toonies?

I use a change holder I got out of a junked car many years ago...Now when I was a Valet at a Country Club many years ago, I saw loads of change on the floor, cup holders, ashtrays, you name it!
