hey raven, i grew up where hummers are built, and my grandma worked and retired from there, so i don't like your sarcasm, buddy.just messin with ya. EDIT: after watching the videos, i can't believe that this would fail. i think the RSV still looks great, much like all of the nissan Z cars, those are all beautiful machines that always make my head turn. the front end of the RSV could use a little help, but for being as safe and economical as it is for it's size/time, i would've gladly taken one, i really love the gullwing doors. actually, for it's time, i think it was very modern. (i was born in 82, so i don't know much about the 70's gas crunch, but my mom did a report on the gas wars in high school that i got to read last year)i haven't done much research or know very much about it, but i think the government must be getting a huge chunk of gasoline sales, and that's why things like this got the axe. now that i think of it, my mom knew someone several years ago that owned a 7-11 gas station, and the owner said she only got to keep 3 cents of gallon sold. this was back in 99-00, so the gas was only about $1.25 a gallon for 87, give or take. so that's $1.22 of every gallon going to other people. imagine what it is now, i doubt the station owners are making much more than they were 8 or 9 years ago.
