Finally got my Vibe 2009!!!!

Ordered it on March 12, got it yesterday. I drove about 70 kms so far, very nice ride. I have to get used to the side and rear views, which are very different than on my previous Pontiac Sunfire...It's the base one, with the 2.4L, and the 1SB electric group. Here is a pic.

Congrats...looks nice in the red. I'm assuming that you have the manual transmission (base model)? If so, how does the shifter feel? I'm still waiting for my dealer to call me and let me know that my car arrived.

Cool looking Vibe. I also still waiting for my dealer to call me that ours has arrived. It is in transit. Ours will be red base like yours. 1.8L automatic plus all options available exept the smoker package.

@JVik 40: yes, it's manual. I don't like automatic...The shifter is fine. It's a bit odd to have it in the dash instead of on the floor, but it's cool.@Sputnik: nope, I didn't want to spend the $260 for the satellite radio, which I don't plan to subscribe to. Why it's standard in the US and not is Canada is beyond me though...Once again we're screwed north if the border....I'd have loved to get the CD player that plays MP3 too, but it was $290 + 260 for satellite, total $550 . It's standard on the Matrix, why not on the Vibe?...Anyway, I like the CD player, which displays CD-Text, so we can see the name of the artist and the song title. And the sound quality is good.

I suspect that the XM radio cost is paid by the XM people in hopes that buyers will subscribe. As I woudl never subscribe (hardly ever listen to my reguzlr radio) I would actually prefer not to have it.
