Johnny Depp is in town filming!

Actually there filming in Oshkosh (20min. away). He and Christian Bale (New Batman), are filming a movie about John Dillinger. It's being directected by Michael Mann. There was a casting call for any period cars and extras with period clothing and look. There even using the 'famous' Ford tri-motor airplane that is available for rides during the EAA fly-in.I was just watching th history channel just a couple weeks ago about how a lot of the Chicago gangsters used to come up here for vacations and such. Al Capone and Dillinger both had 'cottages' up here.It's a pretty cool, I think.

That is cool. (the Al Capone and John Dillinger thing)but it's also pretty cool that Depp is there too...
