Drivers Side Floor Mat

Post by bhb »

I have the factory carpeted floor mats and the top portion under the clutch and brake pedal will not lay flat and curls up to the point of interfering with clutch pedal movement. Any else have this problem and how did you fix it other than replacing the mat?

I know this isn't the answer you are looking for, but I have the rubber mats and they don't have that problem.I have had carpeted mats in my other cars, and I had the same problem you do.

Wash out the mat and lay it flat in that hot Hawaiian sun. Put some weight around the edges if you like. It should flatten out.
