New Vibe order update

Post by dutchvibe »

Hello, Well I just got my Tuesday update on my 2009 Vibe base.Pontiac has told my dealer that the current code is 3300!3300 means " Order selected for production by assembly plant"Does anyone have any idea how much more time? I ordered the car on March 6th.I have a feeling it will be another 2-3 weeks before it will make it on the dealership's lot! from Erie County PA

I'm also waiting for my Vibe... I checked the dealer inventory in my area and noticed that the 2009's are finally in stock at a lot of the dealerships. This can be good news for people with Vibes on order. The wait just seems like an eternity.

My upcoming Vibe was produced by the plant on March 31. I still haven't received it, my dealer said the serial number was now out, and that it could be another 7 to 10 days before he receives it. So, if yours is not even processed yet, I guess you have a few more weeks to wait...I'm tired to be patient....

Thankd for the feed back. I only call the dealer once a week but it seems they have little patience with that. They told me that they would call me once it had a serial number. The wait is hard....specially since this our first new car in more then 15 years.

While I have absolutely no facts to back this statement up, I would be willing to bet the ratio of Corollas to Vibes being produced at NUMMI is at least 3 to 1.... Just a hunch. I got an email from Pontiac the other day promoting the Vibe (I had signed up for email updates), and it had fine print on the image that read: Limited Availability....

I ordered my 2009 on Feb 26th (the first day my dealer got the pricing). I got word from my dealer 2 days ago that the car has been built and is being shipped. They gave 15 days for shipping. So when it finally arrives it will be about 8 weeks in total. Be patient! To this day I cannot order any accessories, nothing from the dealer or the website. I get through the days by telling myself it will be that much more exciting when I get it. Plus, the nicer weather has arrived. Open up the sunroof and windows and crank up the Monsoon I also can't wait to get the pics up on this site to show everyone. Mystic Blue GT

Yes we are...not far to go around the lake. There are a couple of others from the Hamilton area too, so we could think about a summer gathering . Maybe in Niagara Falls??? Central location and a great place to cruise and show the cars.Yeah, 8 weeks seems like torture, especially on those sunnny days.Tell us more about your car.

As I look around the site more, there are plenty others in Ontario, upstate NY, and PA. Maybe a monumental gathering can work in the Falls

New update - my dealer has told me that my Vibe is in transit. They expect it will be here in about two weeks. I assume they put west coast cars on a train to the east coast before putting tem on a truck to the dealer.
