27.6 mpg on my 09 AWD

Just filled up today, I got a little over 300 miles and filled it with 11 gallons. It comes out to 27.6 mpg. My driving is about 85 % highway.It's a 2.4 L Auto, and its only rated for 20-26 mpg. So maybe the drop in mpg from the base 2.4 won't be so harsh after all

1.8 or 2.4L ?That sounds pretty decent.I'm assuming auto...

I think AWD's only come in 2.4.

Me too,but I would take a 2.4 with an s/c,that would be nice.I noticed about the same mileage with the AWD when I drove one.I couldn't even tell it was AWD.

I wonder if the GT which is rated 21/29 with the AT will do as well!

Filled my 2009 AWD and was at 26.3 mpg today. It is steadily getting better with each fill. I have just over 400 miles on the car.
