Hello to everyone out there in Vibe land. I currently own a 2005 Orange Vibe and have a 2009 Mystic Blue GT on order. The 2005 will be traded in for the new one. I am VERY excited. I came across this website searching for a picture of a Mystic Blue Vibe GT. They seem to be very rare. I searched tons of dealerships and online and have only found 1, in Victoria BC. I took a chance ordering it without seeing the colour, but it looks great from the pics they had. The brochure and pontiac.ca and .com websites are way off for colours (especially the blues). Oh, I also ordered a manual tranny, which also seems to be rare with the Vibes. I will post pics as soon as I get the car. Should be within 2 weeks as I ordered it 5 weeks ago. This site is great! I am glad I came across it and happy to be a part of it
"...don't concentrate on the finger, or you will miss all of that Heavenly Glory..."'06 Base Platinum Two-Tone. Automatic. Manual doors and windows. Old style factory crossbars AND GM Utility Bars. Old style center console lid. All-weather front floormats. Rear bumper fascia protector. Drawtite hitch.
Here is a link to the only Mystic blue GT that I have been able to find on the interent.http://www.davewheatongm.com/d...id=42Mine will be the same minus the auto tranny. The actual colour is much different from the Pontiac websites. It is more of a baby blue than a purple blue. Pretty cool IMO. You can see some cool colour shifting in the pics depending on light. Seeing the real thing will be the true test
Join TEAM FUSION/SUNBURSTHi, Welcome. It always makes me glad to read about Vibe owners who love the ride so much they buy another one. That new 2009 is sweet and that's the first I've heard of mystic blue.I want to talk about your old car for a minute before it's gone. You are invited to add your pics of your current 2005 Vibe to the Team Fusion/Sunburst link in the GenVibe “Garage†forum. There are few pictures of the Sunburst Vibes and we want more. I hope GM will offer this color again in the futurehttp://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=32526 Thanks,

i actually like the mystic blue..thats the GT i drove one time..cool color..it's got pearl in it so it's like a blue then turns into almost a yellowish white color...neat color
Thanks for all the wonderful welcomes everybody! I can post some pics of my orange '05, but it is completely stock, might be kind of boring compared to some of the great ones on the site. The real fun will be with the Mystic Blue. You are right about Envy Green, very few out there and it is always a treat to see one. I like the idea of a rare colour, without having to repaint. I am waiting for that phone call that the car is in...any day now Thanks again everyone.
That's neat!!! I just picked up a brochure on the '09s at the dealer, the color in the book for Mystic Blue does not do it justice. In the book, it looks more like a greenish/gray than anything that could remotely be considered blue.

Welcome to the site!GM uses this color by different names for other models - on a Pontiac G6 or GMC Acadia, it's called "Blue-Gold Crystal Metallic" and on a Chevy Malibu it's called "Golden Pewter" so if you want to see what the color looks like on a vehicle (though not necessarily a Vibe), you can try to find one of those.
The way that GM manages their colours is so odd. I have had so much trouble getting a sense of what Mystic Blue actually looks like. The actual words 'Mystic Blue' seem to be meaningless. They toss around colour names with little rhyme or reason. They must have a department that brainstorms cool colour names. What I started finding was that the colour codes were the key. They seemed to remain consistent, regardless of the name. Mystic Blue is #82. On a paint code website it was called Traverse Blue Metallic. Blue Gold Crystal Metallic and Golden Pewter Metallic are both #78 but not the same as Mystic Blue. To complicate this, Saturn has the VUE in Mystic Blue that is not the same as the Vibes Mystic Blue. I have been unable to find the number code for this colour. The Pontiac Torrent has a #82 called Teal Blue Metallic on the website and simply Teal Metallic in the brochure.Confusing? Very! Interesting to try and figure out? Yes! The excitement of getting the car will be that much better. Once I get the car, the pics will follow for everyone here. HURRY UP
thats a sweet color!..and the GMC canyon in the background as well...lol;;;..look forward to your pics...post some of your sunburst before you trade it..i love that color as well...i dont care if its just stock and to think i almost was gonna buy a canyon instead of the vibe..
