OK my 20th is coming up soon. My feelings on any of these things are I do not go. HS sucked for me and College was and is the best part of my educational career. I hit the door after HS and did not look back! My real life started then...Sure I would love to go and watch and see all the others. How much everyone has changed like the cute girls may not be anymore and the tough/jock guys also may not be anymore. I thought about submitting a photo of my wife and me but that would be about it.My feeling is this, the majority of these people couldn't have cared about me so why would I want to hang out with them now? Plus I could see them congregating towards each other like in HS.For a laugh at some 1980's pics here is the link to the reunion... (I am not in any of them)http://www.solon88.com/

I hated High school. The people I want to talk to I know how to get in touch with them - everyone else can go screw themselves. I'm not planning on going back. I didnt go to our 5yr. Some girls I know are still gossiping about old classmates like we were still in HS. Why would I want to be around people like that. My bf graduated with me and he doesnt care about anyone from our class other than the people we already talk to.Plus we have lost 2 classmates already and thats hard too. But, you have to do what you wanna do. I mean, if you think you will regret not going then you should go. People do change and after 20 years who knows what could happen.
My 10-year reunion is this Saturday (April 5 - seems a little early in the year to me). Not going.I've kept in touch with the classmates I wanted to since high school. I sent in a bio with pics, so if anyone wants to make contact, they can.I'll probably go to my 15 or 20 year. My parents enjoyed their 20-year reunions. They said everyone got over the high school drama and had fun.

I graduated from HS in 1960; have been to most of the reunions - held every 5 years. Our graduating class (small Catholic HS) was only 27 so we were closer than most. I was Senior Class President (talk about a big fish in a small pond ). The last couple of times when walking into the room I thought I was in the wrong place because of all the old people there! Most of my HS romances involved girls from the public HS so I am spared those potential awkward moments. [Other than one of my classmates telling my wife about my "reputation".]

I didn't got to my 10yr last year as I was in CA and I am from TX, but I really wanted to go just to see who showed up and how everyone that was there is now.

Personally, I don't go to reunions. (And anyone who knows me at all will understand why and laugh.)
Some things in life are badThey can really make you madOther things just make you swear and curse. When you're chewing on life's gristleDon't grumble, give a whistleAnd this'll help things turn out for the best...And...always look on the bright side of life...

I haven't graduated yet (I'm a junior), so I can't go to class reunions.

Hey, a fellow 88!Anyways I went to the 10yr in 1998 and didn't regret it. Though not every moment of my HS years were that fantastic, I do have some fond memories. The 10yr one found me talking to alot of people I didn't hang out with before, and alot of them turned out kinda normal dispite what I remember. Some girls looked just as good, and others not so much. Here's a shot from my 10yr. The twins still looked good, but the girl on the left with her leg kicked up looked 10yrs older than the rest of us.http://www.facebook.com/photo....00146Our 20yr is coming up this fall and I do look forward to attending.

My class was over a couple hundred kids... In my HS, if you did not come from money and not a jock, you were nothing. I was not either and it was not uncommon to see Mercedes, BMW's, Audi's, Mustang's, Camaro's in the student parking lot! Hard to compete with things like that!I played the drums in the band so I had friends but between people moving before graduation and others being older then me, there really is no one I would want to talk to from my class.Ironically my Mom ran into a female friend of mine last week and she asked if I was going.I was a 150 lb skinny dude in HS and that does not make for an athletic person. The funny part is today I am a 160 lb skinny dude at my age and do not regret being skinny and maturing later in life NOW at my age!
