I contacted Powerslot and they wrote me back in regards to my brake pulsation issue, my questions are this.1) What is a Toyota disc run out inspection?2) I thought you could not re-cut a slotted rotor?Hello Adam,Normally, the brake pedal pulsation issues that you described results from omitting the Toyota disc run out inspection during the installation procedure. If the rotor & hub run out has not been adjusted to the factory specifications thin spotting of the rotor will occur causing brake pedal pulsation issues. I recommend performing a clean up cut (resurfacing of the rotors) reinstalling the rotor performing the factory recommended run out inspection procedure to insure that this brake pedal pulsation issue does not reoccur from this cause. To triple make sure that this diagnostic is correct please send me some detailed images of your rotors.
Dude, you should really start to think about if you need to create a new thread or continue an existing one. This thread makes the most sense as a follow up to your "steering wheel rattle" thread http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=32506 So far, that thread just has your first post, and one reply, so it's not like that thread is used up or has run its course
I posted here cause I didn't get any insight from the last post so it obviously wasn't catchy enough. And why would I use a shop cloth when waxing the car, that would just ruin all the hard work. Nice soft microfibers.
