Yo, Brooklyn! Congrats on the new Vibe! Are you garaging your new baby or street parking? If street, then a set of bumper guards perhaps? OK, ok, I know you're thinking "fugedaboudit" so, how about this?Seriously, I'd get rubber mats. http://tinyurl.com/3dp3ul
It might look bad, but if your bumpers got hit every day b/c of some a-hole that doesn't know how to park w/o hitting you, it wouldn't be a bad thing. Only problem I see is that it doesn't cover the sides of the bumper... that's where I see the rub the most...
I also ordered an Ultra White 2009 Vibe (base), but I've never saw one (Only saw pictures of GT, with side skirts, different bumper, etc.)Can you take pictures of yours and post them there please? Also, for accessories, there is not many accessories available yet. I asked my dealer to add fog lights to my base model, but he did'nt know if it was possible, so don't know the price either. Someone posted the parts number here, but does'nt have the price for the bezels... I hope he will be able provide me those fog at a cheap price!
Fortunately I am one of the few in Brooklyn, with a private garage and driveway, so she's protected from the bumper cars. The other problem with these ugly bumper guards is that the owner's never roll them back into the trunk and keep on driving with them hanging out. I much rather see so scratches on my bumper than to have this hanging over the rear everyday.
