My Vibe impressed me not once, but twice yesterday.Yesterday morning, the wife and I went out looking for 2 new recliners for the living room. On the way to our second store, we where in the middle lane of a major road, 3 lanes each side with a suicide/turn lane additional in the middle. The speed limit is 45 MPH on this road. Green light, light to no traffic just crusing. All of a sudden an old guy in a Blazer heading the other way decides to make a left into the Denny's parking lot right in front of me. I jam on the brakes (thank GOD for ABS), lay on the horn as I steer to avoid hitting him. Not only does he not even see me or acknowedge me coming towards him, he still keeps driving as I go around him without trying to stop. If my wife was not in the car I would have stopped and GRRR..... Anyways the great thing about the Vibe, it held true to the road, didn't once lose grib or feel like it was going to slide or tip. If this would have been my previous Jeep (2001 Cherokee) I would have been on my side from tipping. The 2nd greatest thing about the Vibe, at the 3rd store we visited, we found the 2 chairs we wanted. We paided for them up front and crusied around back to get them. The kid at the loading doc was laughing going you won't get those chairs in there, not even one of them. I said watch this. Look the chairs out of the box and removed the backs. Front seats pushed forward and the rear seats folded down, I slid in the 2 bases with the rear chusions on top of the bases. Now I could not close the hatch as part of the 2nd chair was hangin out but I used about 4 bungies on the tie down hooks and everything was secure. When I pulled away the kids jaw was on the ground that I got both chairs inside the Vibe. Gotta love the space.

That is impressive that you got both chairs in the back. I move home from college every three months (I'm on a crazy co-op rotation) and it's great that I now only have to make one trip. I can fit all my computer stuff, TV, small fridge, clothes and other random junk in the back of the Vibe with no problem.
When I first got my vibe I was moving into my apartment and was shocked that on one trip i fit my 55 gallon fish tank and its stand along with a lot of misc. stuf. Its amozing the amount of stuf our cars hold

Too bad nobody at NUMMI was thinking clearly when they selected this lousy excuse for a horn.

Your right about that horn. This morning while pulling into the driveway at work and old guy in a green Chevy pickup pulls into the driveway in front of me. He goes about 10 -15 feet up the driveway and stops. Now I'm turning off the street into the driveway and his guy starts backing up. I lay on the horn, no response, he keeps coming back, I quickly grab the lever and throw it into reverse and I'm still on the horn and screaming out the window. The guy back bumper comes with 3 inches of the hood before he stops then flips me the bird and drives back up the driveway to turn around in the parking lot. The kicker for all this, he had a bumper sticker that said I brake for Jesus. When I got in to the office and onto IM, told the wife I don't care if we don't have the money, I'm buying new louder, deeper horns this weekend.
