2003 Vibe transmission flush

Hey guys, What would you do...I can get a tranny flush at Pontiac with Delco fluid. Or, one at Toyota with Toyota fluid (same as Delco). Or, one at Sears with Valvoline.Does it really matter what I use?

toyota uses a different tranny fluid than GM will. I did my own tranny drain and fill using toyota's tranny fluid, its just like changing oil, I would say diy.

Just do a drain and fill. No need to "flush" it.

Thank you guys. I might end up doing it myself, but I am worried about messing it up. I have never changed tranny fluid before. I think my Pontiac dealer does a drain and fill. They use Toyota fluid...When should I drop the pan and clean it? I always heard the best thing to do is to get it "flushed" by a machine as that cleans the filter. Again, I don't ever claim to be mechanically inclined, so that may be wrong.Also, is changing the collant as easy as it sounds? With 50/50 premix, it seems relatively easy.

I did my own coolant with toyota coolant, was easy, theres a how to some where here...as for the tranny pan you'd prolly want to drop and clean it up between 50-80k miles. I read a lot and decided against that tranny flush machine as there are many horror stories about how its too harsh on the tranny. So I decided to go the safe route with drain and fill's. again its just like changing oil, theres a drain plug, it drains almost 4 quarts then you fill it up from the top, no problem
