from the URL, I assume it was this storyQuote, originally posted by AP »SEASIDE, Calif. (AP) - A 15-year-old girl who stopped an out-of-control school bus she was riding on was still hit with a Saturday detention. Amanda Rouse had been skipping school at the time. The California high school student was on a bus with 40 elementary kids Wednesday morning when the driver fell out of her seat after a turn and hit her head.Rouse jumped up and applied the brakes, bringing the bus to a halt after striking two parked cars. No one was injured. She said she'd asked the bus driver for a ride because she felt sick at school. Her grandmother says despite making the wrong decision that got her into trouble, Amanda was "where God wanted her to be."

But, I don't think it'll be too bad for her, the teacher in charge of Saturday detention, probably knows what she did, saving the kids and all, and probably will god easy on her.

XD hey, good for her saving the kids though. just think what coulda happened if her parents called her into school sick that day.
None. Vibe is gone.

if i were the principal..i'd cancel out the detention..i mean come on..what would have happened if she just sat there and let the bus go flying down the road with 40 youngsters in it?
