Not sure if this has been done before...but I think I've noticed a pattern in Vibe owners -- very few are tall people. Or at least that's what I observed at the Ohio rally...we all seemed to be average height or a little shorter.I know part of what I like about the design of the Vibe is how I don't have to be extremely close to the steering wheel after positioning myself so I can reach the pedals. Part of what my mom and dad both don't like about it is how they feel far away from the steering wheel, so I've jokingly called my Vibe a short people's car for a while now.But what is the average height of a Vibe owner? How tall are you?
Depends on time of day. 5'7' when I get up in the morning, 5'5" when I go to bed at night.

I'm 6'3" when I stand up straight, got no probs getting in and out of my lowered Vibe and the head room when I'm in the Vibe is more then comfortable. A lot more room then my old 96 Sunfire GT... even with the seat laid back I felt cramped.

I am around 5'11" and my fiance is about 5'8" but we have different driving styles, I like to recline a bit, she hates the recline in my seat, so on the rare occasion she drives the Vibe, It takes a week to get everything back to normal.

And I swear, every person has their own (removed) groove in their seat and if someone else sits there, they mess it up.I agree with you, hate it when people move stuff around. Everything is just in that perfect knotch and it doesn't feel right until you can get it all set back. I got my seat almost all the way back and reclined just right for me, but anyone else moving my car changes everything. To mimic Homer Simpson. "Awwww crap they messed up my (removed) groove. Marg, better get the coffee going, this is going to take a while"

Me, @ 6' 1", her @ 5' 4". Got in a hurry once and slammed myself into her car and actually got stuck for a minute or two. Gad I hate late model Firebirds. And yes she helped me out. After she stopped laughing.
5'3" before the back operations. Probably shorter now.

like Mavrik, 6'5" and graduating from a sunfire. I felt cramped in the sunfire (had a headroom robbing moon roof as well), but still found a comfortable position. One of the huge pluses for the Vibe, is the massive amount of headroom. Finally, I don't have to be super reclined so my head fits in the damn car, lol. I have the height adjustment as low as it can go, not quite slid back all the way, and about half reclined.God bless all the adjustments on the driver seat

A guy I work with has a standard Matriz. He's 5'19" or there-abouts and fits just fine in his car. When I got mine I felt a little crunched until I found the seat-down-crankerator knob on the side of the seat and now I think this is the most comfortable car I've ever driven.

My Boyfriend is 5'11'' And he fits for the most part. He has really muscular legs so because the steering wheel only tilts about 1/4 an inch he 'cant' drive. I could change the seat height, I think he would be fine then, but whats the point, I like driving my car and after my last wreck I dunno if I will ever be letting anyone else drive my car. The Vibe fits me prefectly though.
I am 6'3" nearing 300lbs. I put the seat all the way down before I drove it and half way home stopped to raise the seat up half way. I like the seat higher and there is still plenty of headroom.
I'm 6'1" and the wife is 5'2" on her best day... but all we move in our cars is the seatback angle, which makes it quick and painless.I don't get it either.-Mathias
