im going to have to say no. specially if your 1zz is a 2005+ as they are dbw which need a special intake, ie. cosmo. there may be a way to mod the xrs for the old xr though.

well a friend of mine got one and gave it to me for free. it looks stupid and funny but well if parts are gunn break off, i might as well get like a meshy type steal filter to make sure that nothing goes in the intake. to be completely honest, i just wanted to try it for 1 day because it looked kinda funny when my friend gave it to me.

dude please don't put that supercharger on it, that will only be a waste of time. bluecrush had one, he was the unofficial genvibe guinea pig for little oddball parts. you'd get better gains with a ram air hood, AND it'll look better

ahahaha, electric supercharger. You should have slapped it in for a laugh.I don't know about that intake,I would say it's real generic being able to fit the xr & xrs,it's best to stay within your year and model type,xr-base Vibe,xrs-GT.If you already bought it,I would buy a better filter for it,just my 2cents.

yeah i know the xr = base vibe and xrs = gt vibe although i didnt know if their was somethin diff about the vibe and the matrix on the mounting side. hehe i wanted to put it on for ****s and giggles but nah its not worth my time making a switch for it and everything else. you know what i mean?? lol. and yes you are correct about the filters. all i really wanted was just the intake pipe. i have a filter already for it. now i can do anything as long as i have that pipe. :-)

My CAI is from Spectre. It is a modular system so you buy the pieces to make it fit or check the booklet for your vehicle. The Vibe isn't in it but the Matrix is. I bought the mock-up kit also and I will post a picture of all the pieces needed for the Vibe. This system is available through Autozone, ORileys, etc. I am changing the color of it this year to either red annodized or gloss red.
