Tinting prices?

Just curious, what are other Vibe owners paying for their tint jobs? One place told me that with the number of windows it was considered an SUV job.

I paid a little over $200 as well. From what I have been told, they price by the number of windows, not the size. I am now looking at getting my front windows done and they told me that the price was the same regardless of the vehicle.

$190 canadian for Llumar tint, taxes included and the guy did it at my home. He charges $150 for regular black tint.

My dealer had Johnson film. Regular tint was $180. Titanium (silver reflective) film was $220. including strip at top of windshield. This goes great with my Satellite paint.

where i got mine done, they went by number of windows and darkness of the tint. the more darker the more money

I paid $150 for 30% . I think that all the different tint levels were the same price. That price included a $20 fee for the removal of the hydrolic arms and latch on the rear glass.

I got mine tinted for $245.00 35% front and 30% rear. It was treated as a Multi Purpose Vehicle (SUV) for tinting purposes. But I understood that the Vibe was in sort of a gray area in that regard (tint pun intended) It looks great and helps keep the car cooler! check out http://www.autowindowtintings.com There is a state law feature that tells what is OK in your state and a sample tinting program. gives lots of information before you go to the tint shop. I had all 7 windows tinted at 20% for $175.00, which I think was a good deal, especially here in New York. Everything costs more here than just about anyplace else.
