Stock rims w/ covers

Post by darcmater »

So I was lookign at my car today and was thinking until i get around to finding some rims I like and am willing to pay the price for if I should take the plastic pontiac covers off and just have the actual black stock rims show or keep the plasctic junk ones on. Not sure what will look better with my car. Any suggestions?

If Iw ere to take them off I might go with the moon rings, that pic I saw of the guys with e reverse image in the water looked so nice and simple, didn't take away from the car like some rims do

but you have to be careful. the vibe's steelies have been known to rust prematurely. you could be stuck with nice chrome rings around a brown wheel. that would definitely take away from the car!i wouldn't take any short cuts. invest in some nice wheels, or keep the steelies covered with wheel covers that really don't look bad at all

Hay, you know... the wheels from my Subie will fit the vibe..!! IDK if you might be interested in them, I "think" they would look killer with all the sharp lines of the vibe.. They aren't that heavy either... and I wouldn't break ya... I'm sure you remember BUT.... i'm a pic (removed)...they will be coming off here soon as I got a SMOKING deal on some Volk Racing TE37's used....

I wounder if you asked nice, if someone would chop them onto your carfor you, so you could get an idea of what they would look like... I could provide better pics..

I know, that;s why I got them for about 1/3 of what they would normally cost.. 1100 (shipped from Japan, JDM yo) vs. 2800-3000 ain't badThe blue IS a limited edition color, but alas, I need to fix all of them, they are all curbed to a point, but, the color won't match anything, so, i'm thinking about colors now...
