The Official Genvibe.com Hoody Request Thread

Post by Blanco_Diablo »

Got some solid ideas on pricing and turnaround time today. I need to get an exact count of how many people want hoodies along with desired size and color. If we can get 20-25 people then we will definitely hit our price goals of approx. $25-$30 per hoody and may even be able to do a few different color ups (i.e. white and black colors stay the same, grey goes to the car color of your choice). Here is the final design, it will be screenprinted.I could get us these hoodies in any of the sizes/colors shown:They do come with the swoosh on the pocket. They are great quality hoodies (typically $48 retail). I could get about 25-30 far below wholesale. For those who do not want the swoosh to be visible, I will cover it with a patch:My goal is to try and pull this all off at the best quality possible for under $30. Also, if any of you have or want t-shirts or anything else that would fit an approx. 8.5" x 7.5" graphic, now is the time to speak up as it will only help to leverage prices.I am having these done at cost (no profits will be made by me) in an attempt to get you the best quality hoody for you at the best price. Even the other vendors are cutting me some deals on the printing, labels, etc. Callin' in some favors on this one (edit) Here's who I have confirmed for hoodies:MRCN RCE (2): 1 (Red) orig. color graphic, 1 (Blk) orig. color graphic, XL, vibe patchBlanco Diablo (1): (Blk) XL, orig. color graphic, vibe patchmoongdss (1): (Blk) Med, orig. color graphic, vibe patchKamikaze (1): (Blk) L, orig. color graphic, vibe patchMrizzle05 (1): (Gry) Med, blue/black graphic, vibe patchdarcmater (1): (Blk) XL, orig. color graphic, vibe patchBlueCrush (1): (Blk) L, orig. color graphic, vibe patchkevera (1): (Blk) L, red graphic, vibe patchJoholste (1): (Blk) XL, orig. color graphic vibe patch (embroidery i would like JOHOLSTE)Sublimewind (1): (Blk) XXL, red graphic, vibe patchV for Vibe (1): (Blk) S, orig. color graphic, vibe patchBLAQ JAQ (1): (Blk) 3XL, orig. color graphic, vibe patch?waveresponder (1): (Roy) M, orig. color graphic, vibe patchasburydan (1): (Blk) L, orig. color graphic, vibe patchFutureviber (1): (Blk) M, orig color graphic, vibe patchWaveAction (1): (Wht) L, blue opt. 1, vibe patchaudiovibe (1): (Blk) L, red graphic, vibe patch tribalman (1): (Blk) XXL, white graphic option 1, vibe patchbull77?kunkstyle (1): (color?) size? graphic color? vibe patch?northvibe (1): (Blk) L, orig. color graphic, vibe patchNascarXprt (1): (Blk) L, normal blue colored logo, and vibe patchThat's 22 confirmed so far.Note: these hoodies tend to run a bit big as they have an athletic fit as opposed to an Abercrombie tighter fitting fashion hoody, keep that in mind when requesting sizes. Yep, since we are already inking up screens and printing, we might as well bang out whatever people want this design on. I will send out an address before we print for those who want additional items printed up. Step one is getting confirmations of colors and sizes from everyone so I can order up the hoodies.

Currently it will be white, grey, and black like the design you see in this thread. To switch out to another color will be an additional $5 per color change. If we are able to get 25 orders I may be able to get the additional colors made without charging extra. Here is an example:

I have had some members inquire into having the banners customized with their screen names or having their screen name as an additional graphic hit. I may be able to do this but it would cost approx. $5-$10 more per hoody as it will require an additional screen to be made as well as a print charge. For those still interested in the further customization, let me know and I'll try and work out a decent deal for ya. Sorry for all the variables and estimates on pricing, almost everything is contingent on how many hoodies are ordered and what color choices everyone makes.

Box for you guys to mail checks or money orders to. I figure that would be more stable since I am in the process of moving (locally) right now. I'm working a few deals with the patch and screen print people so once we hit 20 hoody orders or so then I will get a final price for everyone. May be able to get 'em cheaper than our target, still tracking on the original price and trying to include shipping in the deal. I figure I will be spending a chunk of time at the UPS Store Are there any weird customs issues with shipping to Canada that I need to be aware of?

I could simplify the design so it could be reproduced. The type in the banner is probably the main issue, that and the three colors. It can be done, just need to tweak the graphic a 'lil bit. Plus, he may think all you have is this .jpg file, I can prep the graphic for vinyl cutting and format as needed. A decal should not be a problem, just have to do some research. I can work some angles here as well. Man, I need to buy a vinyl cutting plotter!

I will be able to give final prices at that time and will send the address to those who have placed orders. I am going to adjust the first post to keep a running tally of the orders. Again, for ideal pricing it would be good to hit 25 hoodies.

If a color changes , everything in that tone has to change. Therefore, if the pontiac goes red then every other black detail will have to go red as well based on how the screens are set up. For an additional $25 (the price of two additional screens and an ink change) it can be done, but it is hardly worth the cost.
